On-Site History
Chris Canada founded On-Site
Computer Solutions in 1992 with one goal: to turn his passion
for helping people with their information
technology into a successful enterprise.
Starting out as a one man shop afforded him
the opportunity to get to know his clients
up-close and personally. Time and again, he
would ask their leaders what they needed from
IT to reach their goals. Then, no matter how
hard the task, he would get the job done. This
was the birth of OnSite's proactive attitude
and commitment to excellent service.
As time went by, OnSite watched our clients
blossom with the technology
solutions we provided.
This success both solidified and magnified
the strength of OnSite's
business relationships.
The trust our clients place in us makes OnSite more
than a technology advisor. OnSite is a reliable,
behind-the-scenes business partner.
Our clients use us as their "Virtual IT
Director" because they count on us to
think about their interests and their brand in
the same way that they would. Like a doctor
keeping up with medical
journals for the benefit of her patients, OnSite
proactively stays on top of market trends and
new products and services, keeping our clients
and their needs in mind.
Now at over 40 employees, our well-managed
expansion assures that each person's specific
expertise can be used to its fullest potential.
Prudent business practices helped us negotiate
the dot-com bust, when many of our more extravagant
competitors did not survive. From our home
base in Austin, we are now one of Texas' leading
providers of customized and optimized information
technology
solutions, services, and consulting for small to medium-sized businesses.
